Those that get HS in groin/thighs area: how do you deal with chafing, sweating in the summer, etc? I wear spandex under dresses and skirts and don’t wear shorts with super short inseams. But the spandex also makes me warmer and sweatier?? Not sure what to do. I’d like to like “air it out” more because I’m a sweaty person in general bc of medication I’m on, but then my thighs rub together which was already painful and irritating before HS started.

I use anti-monkey butt powder. It may have a funny name, but I am telling you this product is a godsend. You will never chafe again.

Lume deodorant lotion is super nice "fresh balls" is also pretty nice. It leaves a like... Cornstarchy dry film that helps you not chafe. The crop preserver from manscaped does a similar thing and i think also has an acidic pH to help with bacteria growth.

For starters I go with breifs to help with keeping from chaffing, and I normally use pan oxyl overnight patches which seem to help the spots die down. However at night let things breathe or keep a pillow/towel between my legs.
