Hey!! Does anyone else with PCOS have months-long periods? How do you treat this? Pls do not recommend hormonal birth control.

Yes, I struggle with this. I take iron supplements to help offset the blood loss and keep my energy up. I’ve heard metformin helps some people (that’s not a birth control, and could be worth asking your doc about!) If you have the energy, working out might help, too. I hope you and your doctor(s) can find something that works for you!

Are you on any medications?

Honestly I don't know, I just kinda accepted that as my reality at the moment
I was having the same issue when I wasn't sexually active. I'm now with a partner that sexually excites me and we do it regularly. I've also tried to reduce my stress and anxiety. I went from bleeding for a month or 2 to only bleeding 3 to 6 days a month. Sorry if this doesn't help. It's just what's helped me. Good luck with your journey and I hope something ends up helping!
