The thing I struggle with the most is paranoia ocd (I dont know if that actually has a name or not?) But basically I'll get thoughts like "if you dont sit or lay in this exact position, someone will come in and be able to choke you to death" or like "Dont sleep, stare at the door to make sure no one comes in". I don't really have a coping mechanism for it though. Since I was 12, I just ignored the thoughts and would end up hurting myself because of it, now my Ocd is way worse from all of the build up that it can literally sometimes be crippling.

I struggle with obsession much more than compulsion. Intrusive thoughts, not being able to move past things that are "bothering" me (I think we know it's much more than bothering lol), feeling like I want to peel my skin off when things aren't going the way I need them to... bleh.

Most of my obsessions tend to come from the fact that im autistic and hyperfixate a lot! Honestly tho i love obsessing over stuff because it makes me so happy and even the simplest things can sometimes remind me of them! For example i really love cartoons and theres this one cartoon i was obsessed with at the time called space goofs and theres a character named stereo and everytime i saw a stereo or heard someone just say that word i instantly get happier cause id start thinking about them! And wow this was way longer than i intended oops

for me ā€¦ itā€™s organization it drive me crazy when things arenā€™t a certain way or a certain sound and also time iā€™m obsessed with the number 5 or 0 so like 5:00 or 5:10 i do anything by 5 and itā€™s so satisfying to perfectly time what time iā€™ll get somewhere

@emptyy I experience spiritual ocd involving death and numerical witchcraft so I very much get the number thing. I've had "lucky numbers" since I was able to comprehend the concept of numbers, right now I'm obsessing over angel numbers to the point where I spent weeks thinking I need to get my bmi to 11.1 which is very bad cuz that's severely underweight.
