I notice my anxiety and UTIs are connected. UTI give me brain fog and anxiety. Anxiety and stress weaken my immune system making more susceptible to UTIs. Drinking lots of water does seem to improve my anxiety and helps prevent UTI.

@ATG So let's start w, what are your tendencies when your PMDD hits? I get very lethargic and depression hits me especially hard. What patterns have you noticed with yours? Also, hydration is just incredibly important? How much do you drink a day? I try to drink at least 4-8 bottles of water a day. But that's also due to UTI issues, as well.

Emotions can fluctuate and it's important to remember that they come and go like the weather. To stay hydrated during flares, try options like pickle juice, popsicles, electrolyte replacements, Gatorade, Pedialyte, milk, or broths. Drinking water with a straw and carrying a water bottle around can also help remind you to drink more frequently.
