That’s a struggle for me too. Especially because I’m not a fan of breakfast foods and I don’t feel hungry until about lunch time. I know this sounds terrible but I was diagnosed with Celiacs 2 years ago and I still haven’t gone completely Gluten Free. I need to keep carbs low for my T1Diabetes and I know I need to go Gluten free but I don’t like to face hard things. I also suffer with Depression so it makes trying to take care of myself even more difficult cause sometimes I just don’t care. I find eggs usually work the best and gluten free oatmeal keep my blood sugar stable. But I normally just have coffee in the morning and will eat at Lunch. What’s your breakfast consist of?

It’s so frustrating when you have to avoid so many foods. My diabetes is awful, today I’m feeling really tired due to high BG’s last night. I just had a bacon, lettuce and tomato wrapped in the lettuce. It was good.

Old fashion oatmeal or Quinoa. One berry smoothies with unsweetened vanilla almond milk with some chia seeds and hemp seeds. Eggs for protein- sometimes alone or mixed with veggies like properties spinach and onions with a little avocado on the side. Refined sugar is a culprit for me when it comes to spikes in bg’s but berries (natural sugar) don’t cause an issue for me. Also I use good planet plant based cheese if I’m. Craving cheese. Also eat canyon bake house gluten free bread to make sandwiches, especially breakfast sandwiches.

Wow! That sounds like a plan I should be following! Have you always been a healthy eater? Honestly I’m having so much trouble trying to improve my eating habits. I know I have to do it.
