      It really depend of your condition. I discovered I was hypo by accident just doing my annual check up with bloodwork. I have hashimoto and as my thyroid activity is decreasing my treatment has to be readjusted constantly to balance the level of hormones. It seems to be stable now but still under surveillance.

      Ask your doctor to order T3 and T4 blood tests, not just a TSH. The T3 in particular, is more accurate.
