I'm so sick of medical "professionals". I have been to the ER 3 times recently for the same issue, ER staff and my care team have all thought it is either GI or GYN related. 5 different doctors have agreed with this. But GYN said it is impossible that it has anything to do with her speciality, would not examine me even, and then said "if it even was related to GYN birth control is needed, but you're unwilling to even take a simple bandaid treatment like that" after explaining how birth control has negatively impacted multiple aspects of my health, including GYN related issues, and that I don't want to exchange severe abdominal pain for more severe and frequent migraines. A "bandaid treatment" shouldn't also cause you pain.

@FaerieBones I luckily never blacked out, but my body didn't like them at all. I understand that birth control can be very helpful to some people but it shouldn't just be a fix all especially since it does have a lot of side effects. I'm hoping to find a doctor who listens soon

It astounds me how so many GYNs still don't understand how badly hormonal birth control can be for people. I blacked out twice in 2 months when I took it years ago and after I stopped I was fine and will never go near it again. I'm sorry you're having a tough time šŸ’•

im very sorry to hear that. ER can really be sometimes of no help. Have you tried other primary doctors to recommend u to specialists?

@cheekss the ER doctors were actually amazing, they pointed out the two possible issues. My specialists were unfortunately the bad ones. And I need a new primary, because as amazing of a person as she is she isn't a very good doctor at all
