It can help to do little things that are "self care" activities. My therapist called them "positive affirmations". A lot of times, feeling like wanting to die starts with a lot of thoughts that are negative. If you can try to change some of your thoughts to be more positive about yourself than maybe you won't feel some negative. It's not that easy but it's something to work on

Try cannabis if you haven't already. And keep busy, especially your mind. Doesn't mean doing out. Binge watching a good show, video games, videos, movies, etc. helps keep my mind busy. Also, having a pet can help too.

Texting CTL to 741-741. Using pixelthoughts.co (website). DBT skills help sometimes, too. I also use cannabis.

I try lots of different things to help myself feel better because it can be hard sitting with the reality that I've felt this was for so long. But I'm still here so I try to remember why that is... even if it's just Ben and Jerry's.

Find someone who you trust to talk too about about it , If medication is right for you then try that , if it's the cause of the feelings you may need a different med. I'm in therapy and it has helped and not once has he told me I needed to be admitted if that's something your afraid of . We created a plan to keep me safe
