how are you treating your fibro?
Chronic Generalized pain
Currently, I am getting physical therapy and do my best with my nutrition and exercise. I'm still working to look into other treatment options, though. I just got my official diagnosis in December. I feel like my life would be set of, on top of the PT, I had regular massage, a personal trainer, and a nutritionist lol. I also have to be extra mindful of self care. Like being ok with getting less done. Allowing myself to rest and listening to my body. It's definitely a journey
Medications, stretching, heating pads, CBD sometimes, warm baths, massages, and not pushing myself physically.
which meds work for you
I take propranolol, cymbalta, mobic (anti inflammatory), and tramadol.
Most doctors I saw about my fibro said I need to “suck it up”.
Lyrica works kinda i get treated like i have leprosy bc i used to be on suboxone drs are so fucki g frustrating another dr told me to go see a shrink
Medication, nsaids, sleep
medication puts more toxins in the system
I'm ok with my choice.
Change diet to Anti inflammatory. Not alcohol, rest alot
I was just diagnosed in January so I am still educating myself. Haven’t found any medication for my pain yet. I go to physical therapy , chiropractor occasionally and try to walk daily. Ice and heat are helpful. I eat very healthy and don’t eat gluten or dairy or processed food. I have a functional medicine Doctor and nutritionist that I work with. My rheumatologist has not been helpful at all.
