@Natti1076 for me it was actually by accident. I was bleeding heavily while on my cycle and the cramps were unbearable. Luckily I was in the hospital at a doctors appointment. They rushed me down to the ER. There they found an ovary torsion really bad blood was cut off and you can die from it. Along with cysts. They went in fixed the ovary put it in the right position picture it as being tied up, your ovary. And removed the cysts. That was in 2002 and I’ve been had a total of 5 surgeries. If you are constantly having severe cramping while on your menstrual cycle please talk with your Gyn. I also have poly cystic ovary syndrome. Good luck. 🙏

How did you get your doctor to check for cysts?

They originally thought mine was a dermoid cyst, got in there to remove it, and discovered that it was not a cyst. I have BOT on both sides and I'm 34.

Ok this app just throws you in with alikes that are somewhat alike to your health diagnoses. I’ve been having surgeries since 2002 due to dermoid cysts. In 2008 they removed my left ovary and now my right ovary is giving me a headache. I’ve had a total of 5 surgeries with the left ovary it was 3 surgeries to removed dermoid cysts along with an ovary torsion. My right ovary I had 2 surgeries, 3 months apart in 2020. There isn’t really much you can do with cysts. But if their size gets big, as big as mine, you’re more likely than not to need surgery. And depending on how old you are and what your situation is, the gyn may not want to remove the ovary. I was in my late 20s when they removed my left ovary stating that I can still have children with my right. I want the right one out because I have no children and don’t want children. Tired of getting cut into. They won’t take it out and I told my Gyn if I go in for a third surgery you’re taking it out!
