Has anyone had any issues with their Celexa just making them feel numb? I know you're not supposed to, but sometimes when I just want to FEEL things I'll not take it for a couple days. I'm tired of feeling like a shell

I’m on sertraline but yes, similar thing with numbness. It got a bit better over time for me. Crying is really important for me to cope and I was rarely able to do that for a while. How long have you been taking it? You can try taking it for the 4-6 months to see if things get better if it’s bearable for you. Definitely talk to your provider about it. It’s normal to need to try several antidepressants before you find one that’s pretty good.

Yes!! It definitely took a few refills for me to feel this way. I don't have desire for anything anymore but I'm not having panic attacks or depression as hard anymore. Trying to fiqure out what is more important

I used to be on it when I was in high school. I remember feeling the same way and not liking that it did that had to stop taking it. Talk to your doctor about trying something different. Other meds might work better and keep you feeling more like yourself
