how do I ask to try a higher dose? I don't want to come off as trying to score drugs but the dose I am at makes me feel very sleepy x.x ADD is hard

So the reason we know ADD/ADHD is a disorder is because of our abnormal reactions to stimulants. Sometimes they can make us extremely calm. So that might just be the wrong kind for you? I've tried a few and the ones that I can sleep on did NOT work for me at all when it came to helping with executive function. Increasing the dose just increased my blood pressure and anxiety and didn't help anything. But I would just be honest with your doctor and say "I have ADD and my stimulant is making me tired"
