so I hear from lots of Fibro people that weed is really helpful. Can I ask if anyone has found it helpful for the tiredness side? I have pain and swellings and all that, but I can push through recently the tiredness, with dizziness and brain fog is making being a mother really hard. anyone got any good ideas?

I live in England so unfortunately don't have access to cannibas legally. I have smoked it and tried edibles but unsure what it is laced with and can't tolerate it very well. I have taken to CBD and really does help with the insomnia in oil form. I have tried tablets vape and oils and only found relief with the oil. Vaping does help with the anxiety and feel no effect as far as I can tell in tablet form. Worth trying for your insomnia I suggest taking small doses and monitoring how you feel. Good luck I know the lack of sleep makes most problems worse.

It definitely it helps me. I'd recommend a sativa strain since its known for being energizing wheras indicasare more relaxing. I use sativas on low energy days and i think it would probably work better for you than indica.

I use medical cannabis, and it really helps with pain and helps me sleep, but I have noticed that it adds to my brain fog and fatigue. And I haven’t found a strain that is helpful during the day. But it helps so much with sleep and pain relief

I’ve had Fibromyalgia for nearly fifty years. These last three years I’ve had fatigue so badly it’s all I can do to do an hour’s worth of hours work & make a nice dinner & some days not even that. It’s do frustrating. I’m 75 and have many things I want to do every day darn it!!

I use cbd patches that are really helpful to me. My favourite ones at the moment are by a brand called Kloris, but there are some other great ones too.

@chronicallyillchef wow those kloris patches aren't cheap! I just don't know if it would be worth it.

@sleepinggirl That is the downside. Brown's cbd also do some that are half the price

I have had really significant help from cannabis. It's the only thing that helps my flares with no lasting side effects. That being said, I've found the strain "Blue Dream" strain to be far and away most effective at helping with flares, and I'm not sure why. It does help me with tiredness, because it takes enough of the pain away so that I can focus on doing something. Unsure if it'd be the same for others with fibro, but it might be worth a try. If you are having trouble sleeping due to flares, I highly recommend Aliviar 20:1 CBD oil (which has some THC in it, so you do have to get it from a legal weed store). I started taking it in 2014, and it's done wonders for my sleeping, which helps with being more alert during the day. Good luck on your journey!!

@FatBirdTRex wish it was legal here, Im Sure a natural plant would do less damage than 3 litres of morphine a week plus 19 other tablets a day. My ex used to spoke it illegal and he had anxiety and always looked so relaxed and slept so well wen he had. But it's illegal n there very hot on that round here

I've heard it really helps, it's 100% illegal here but people that take it illegally or from other places have said is amazing for chronic pain

I only use them in times where nothing else works. I like topical stuff. In my state it's legal. They have a roll on that's great for smaller areas like the wrist and then I use a cream for things like my back. I use edibles to help with brain fog. They help but they can also be powerful so definitely research and ask the seller a lot of questions. Also, I don't smoke it due to the smell triggering my migraine condition. (Sage smell can also trigger it so it isn't just that.) So, play around.
