My depression has been extremely treatment resistent. I can't take SSRIs because they make my throat swell. I've tried so many things from wellbutrin to lamotrigine and now im trying gabapentin (600mg 2x a day). but nothing seems to give me the boost I need to feel anything. I've even brought up potentially trying a Ketamine treatment before to my psychiatrist, but she wants to hold off on that. Is there else who has struggled with treatment resistant depression that have found things that work for them? I'm just getting worse and worse and need something to try.
