I really want to feel better about myself but I don't know where to start. I see other people love themselves and when I try I can only think of things I hate about myself. How do people do it?

I'm in the same boat but something that's helped me is trying to see on myself what others see in me that's good, being kind, having compassion and my smile. I'm still learning how to love myself but I let my women's group tell me the things they see about me and so I try and keep those in mind on me telling myself these are good things I should love about myself... I'm not saying it's helped me to love myself immediately but it does help me focus on maintaining those things about me that I agree are good things. I still have a hard time looking at myself in the mirror without putting myself down about the way I look especially since I've been having teeth problems š Hope this helped a little

all I can say is it always takes time, and you might not notice it's happening
