Hi has anyone here had Serotonin Syndrome and was able to go back on an antidepressant afterwards or are we sensitive to serotonin raising meds after Serotonin Syndrome? Keep hearing conflicting stories. Would like to hear from real people who have been through this. Thanks!!
Had serotonin syndrome- my psychiatrist put me on klonopin instead of another ago depressant because my anxiety was so bad. Depression got worse especially the first week or so I went off Wellbutrin. Not on another antidepressant- but I have noticed my depression being less extreme after the first week or so off of it
I have not gone onto any antidepressants since but that is also because my psychiatrist is worried it will add too much to my anxiety (as I struggle more with anxiety than depression)
