Anyone else relate to: when your not having anxiety feeling so confident in your ability to deal with (anxiety) until it actually comes back and your strugggggling. Had a few good days this week and felt amazing, got back to being myself. Then today felt like the anxiety was in control.

@Grameze how is your blood oxygen level when you feel you can’t breathe? I struggle with dyspnea since getting long Covid as well. My Blood oxygen is always fine and I have to make sure I don’t hyperventilate when I get this feeling of not being able to get a good breath. There have been studies that show some peoples lungs might not function as well after getting Covid. They need a special MRI with xenon gas to be able to see it though.

Yes, it’s a rapid cycle, I think mine depends on my thought process and the climate meaning if it’s sunny and hot I don’t do very well unless I’m actively doing something, however if I anticipate the next day or things that are to come then I’m back at square one, that’s the GAD because it creates excessive worry, so the mind brings in intrusive thoughts and overtakes you.

Yesss!! I deal with this as well. I’ve read that this is normal. Your brain is wired anxiously after dealing with anxiety for a good amount of time. You just have to remember rewriting your brain is a process and it takes time. Relapses will happen it’s just making sure you can hone your ability to recognize it when it’s happening, and having a healthy plan to not spiral downward.
