What were your symptoms that you made you suspect you had endo?

Extreme pain and nausea every time I bleed to the point of passing out in my 5th grade class once a month. I was out on b/c since then but I’ve always had super irregular cycles. I’ve bleed for a month straight before. The point where I knew I needed help was at 20 I would get so sick every first day of my period that I would be on the ground screaming in pain. I went to the ER because I thought I was dying. They did nothing. I had to beg for help from my doctors and it took years but I was scheduled for surgery(sadly COVID has put a hold on that)

Inconsistent period but consistent pain. I was kind of used to it all and then I went on iud birth control and it took away my normal pain for a short while and made me realize I was in pain all the time. Then as my body adjusted to the iud my pain came back worse than ever, even without a period, and my mom has it

-Painful sex, especially after sex. I would just lay there afterwards unable to move. It became horrible and traumatizing. -Ovarian cysts, about 1 every three months. -Constantly feeling like I have a UTI but labs coming back clean, going on serval medications, nothing helped. -Kidney infections due to infections not being treated. - Low energy, absolutely exhausted all the time. - Sharp stabbing pain in stomach, regardless if I was on my period.

My symptoms every since I started my period at 10 years old have been, painful & heavy, dizziness, nausea, extreme gas and bloating, diarrhea, constipation, butt lightning, low back, pelvic pain, leg pain, shoulder, back neck pain, joint pain, intense mood swings, depression and anxiety, hot flashes, night sweats, insomnia, heart palpitations and chest pain…I also think I have fibromyalgia.

The very first period I had at 13 was bad and very heavy but I didn’t have anything to compare it to. Then I collapsed several times as a teenager & I noticed that my friends weren’t ending up in the ER like I was. I wasn’t diagnosed until the age of 21 when I had a laparoscopy. I didn’t pursue treatment very aggressively because a flare up only happened every 3 months or so. But then it turned into every month. And then it turned into every day

It started with 2 periods in the same month with heavy bleeding for 11 of the 31 days of that month. I had been on continuous birth control and had spotted/bled for 10 months straight. It then evolved over the next 6 months through different forms of birth control to pain that became more constant in between periods, and period pain that would send me to the floor or keep me in bed with blackout dizziness and unbearable pelvic spasms.

My period last over 3 months and it causes so much pain on my period. It's a pain that lingers even when I'm not on my period. Painful poops. Boob pain. Just a bunch of different things.

Period pain that left me unable to think or breathe. Super heavy periods.

Pain from cramps that would make my legs go numb and make me vomit. Abnormal cycle, usually bleeding more than I should have. Bad clots.

I had horrible, horrible periods that would last multiple weeks and that were very irregular so I went on depo, which actually made it worse. My doctor added the pill on top which leveled it out, but I was still getting cramps all month and eventually she figured I probably had endometriosis since hormonal bc wasn't really helping. The Mirena IUD is one of the only approved treatments for endometriosis so she put me on that and it's been a game changer
