I’m so fed up of feeling sick all the time. Rn, I’m literally in bed with an overwhelming feeling of “oh shit I’m gonna throw up” because of a migraine. Pressure points used to work but they don’t anymore - lavender/essential oils don’t work I’m genuinely at a loss and my doctor always just brushes off my symptoms as “it’s probably loneliness or your autism”??? I’ve taken codeine but it’s not working… I give up 🙃 any advice or even experiences so I know I’m not alone would be great

Hey, just wanted to let you know you aren't alone in this. Been dealing with daily nausea/feeling like I'm going to vomit every single day for 20+ months now and the migraines definitely make it worse. I'm sick (lol) of dealing with it. I wish I had some better advice for you but doctors keep brushing me off too (b/c woman diagnosed with anxiety so naturally that must be the cause of the ongoing nausea even though therapy + proper meds have made anxiety a non-issue for the past year). Something that sorta helps me in those intense "oh shit, I'm gonna throw up and I really, really don't want to" moments is taking a whiff of rubbing alcohol. Sometimes if the nausea is really strong, I'll lay in bed with an alcohol prep pad between my eyebrows and just try to deep breathe and get through the worst of the nausea waves (it always comes in waves for me).

@sunflower813 thank you so much - it is so annoying when the doctors just brush it off it’s almost like they cba to actually listen and I get that with the NHS (I’m from the UK) they’re so overrun but it upsets me that you wait months for an appointment for them to say “nah just anxiety” and tell you to do breathing exercises!
