2 since being diagnosed. I was one of the lucky ones. I was diagnosed a year before my first surgery which was excision/aborted hysterectomy. My second surgery was a complete hysterectomy done 4 months after the past one. Feeling better today than I have in so long

@PacoPeep Did the hysterectomy take away all the pain?

About to be two. My next one is in June. I had excision surgery back in the beginning of 2020 and my symptoms are coming back :(. I was diagnosed with DIE

I’m so sorry 😭. how have you been managing your symptoms?

I take aygestin, which is a higher milligram formulation of birth control that's often used for endometriosis. It works fairly well but it's expensive when tacked on to my other meds, and I think it's causing hair loss :( I have no choice though, without it/with normal birth control (which used to be enough to make me able to live with it) my symptoms are intolerable.. like completely out of hand. It's basically just a bandaid/just masking the issue but I guess it'll have to do for now

Just the one. Saw the best surgeon I could find so I can save money over the long run having fewer surgeries. I have insurance for $400 a month and paid $7500 total for surgery out of pocket.

Two, I had a hysterectomy and following that I grew a benign tumor I had to have surgically removed.
