Howdy! I live in the Northeast section of the United States, and work in oncology. Question- How have/had you overcome your eating disorder? Congrats! No easy feat for sure and many medical professionals don’t understand… After doing digging mines triggered by emotions- mainly loneliness off work and having friends with busy 8-5 lives. I just can’t make friends and can’t help but feel isolated (example at work they had a bridal shower for a day staff member, but not even a congrats/good luck the week of my wedding). tried for a year: speaking to a therapist which would just turn into weekly updates over various unrelated drama, the gym in a healthy non obsessive way, going outside on walks, driving to new local places etc Tried for few 6+: journaling, yoga, art, reading, cooking a meal, gratitude journal, various diversional activities when I feel lonely/bored/etc,

I've found it helpful to completely stop all bans on foods. Explore new foods (like avocados omg do I love em), and try to get down to the root of why I eat certain foods when I feel certain ways. I try to focus on nourishment :)
