Dealing with Epilepsy without Medication

Is there anyone that deals with epilepsy without medication? I’m looking for an alternative way to take care of this. I don’t know what’s causing them. They just started last year. Anyone similar?

      When I first had epilepsy at age 14, I kept having grandma seizures rapidly. Had to have an MRI immediately along with injections of something. Idk what they did when I was 14 because I was a teen and was passed out most of that time. Right now though. In January, I just had brain surgery and they said will have a very high chance of curing me. For I had a damaged brain. That's possibly what caused mine. (However I was also told at the last minute for dramatic effect by my mother that she had a seizure as a kid. Only 1 in her life though.) But just recently I was given Epidiolex as a prescription and so far it's stopped my usual scheduled seizures. Back when I was in the Volunteer Fire Department and I panicked when I lost my first patient, I started smoking Marijuana with my partner in the VFD. That actually prevented my seizures for 3 months until I stopped smoking it. (My state hasn't made it legal yet though. Medical or for casual.)

          @EpilepticDragon dang it I wrote that all messed up-i meant I didn’t know if I was just having seizures because of some brain problem or was I causing it myself by smoking too much? That’s my dilemma.

          @EpilepticDragon ooh okay. I’m sorry to hear about what happened to you. I’m glad you found something that works. See I’ve been smoking marijuana to help with my seizures too and I’ve tried CBD too. It seems to help. The only thing I’m worried about now is this condition I heard of called CHS- Cannabinoid Hyperemesis Syndrome. It’s where you smoke too much weed and it does crappy things to your body. I didn’t know if I was causing my symptoms myself or was it the marijuana. It seems like I have seizures when I don’t smoke. Every time I’ve had one is when I’ve ran out of marijuana. I just can’t tell. I don’t know if it’s helping me or killing me. Is that something maybe you would maybe know anything about? I know it’s totally weird and random lol
