I think I’m a bad person! So I’ve struggled with this OCD theme for almost a year now maybe even longer on and off. My fear is that I cheated. I feel so much guilt and shame. Over a few events. The first one was a male guy friend who I’ve know for years prior to my bf. We chatted a lot about school and I sent him a video of my bf and I . But I didn’t inform my boyfriend I believe out of fear because my ex when I was 16 controlled and isolated me. And I live out of fear of peoples reactions. I obsess about that I sent him tik tok videos and pictures of myself and talked about my makeup and make jokes as well. Another thing I feel bad about is virtual games I used to play like Roblox lol. I would have random convos and troll people. I’m freaking out just typing this.

      My dear, confessing is a compulsion that is going to make the OCD worse. Whats some delaying or discomfort we can sit in? Some EPR techniques? I can't in good conscience engage with the confession or offer any reassurance. But I will tell you you are capable of handling more discomfort and uncertainty than you think. Unengagement helps me with ruminating. "I dont get to know for sure" "if that happened that would suck"
