I was just diagnosed with CVS but I do not experience any vomiting, has this been the case for anyone else?

Hi! This is super late in the game but I just saw this post and thought I’d share. It took me quite a while to get diagnosed with CVS specifically because I didn’t experience vomiting at the beginning. My symptoms almost always were limited to an extreme pain my stomach (did test for all sorts of things and even thought I’d have to go through surgery for appendicitis at one point, but then all tests came back fine) and a lot of diarrhea. I was told it was all sorts of things. Food allergies, IBS, menstrual issues, etc. But it was so extreme that I was worried if I didn’t push to get answers I’d find out to late that I had stomach cancer or something. My doctor was really invested in finding an answer and I am so grateful to him because if I hadn’t gotten a diagnosis, I wouldn’t have been able to remove stressors that I realized were triggering things. It is completely normal to have CVS (or abdominal migraines as my doctor more often refers to for my case). It may not be what’s typical, but you are not alone in not experiencing that side of things.
