Dealing with Vertigo and Disability Benefits

I can’t walk or look around without a dizzy nauseous carsick kind of feeling. (Looking around includes reading.) If I ignore it & push through, I get full on vertigo - floor tilting, room spinning, vomiting. The only thing that doesn’t make me dizzy is sitting with my eyes closed. My GP, audiologist, & 2 neurologists didn’t find anything. I was lucky enough to be working for a company that offers long term disability benefits when all this started. Yesterday I got a letter from them saying that they don’t consider me to be disabled. That while I can no longer do my previous job (computer based), they believe I could do a lower stress job. ?????? So I’m looking for jobs that I can do while sitting still with my eyes closed. 😂 Seriously tho, has anyone been though this re: disability benefits? What can I do??
