Hi, newbie here 👋👋
Currently in huge fibro flare up & I'm after some tips how other people cope & bring theirs to an end. I'm in week 3 now, my normal coping strategies aren't working (rest, hot water bottle, gentle stretches, clean eating, regular meds, CBD tincture, weighted blanket). I'm in pain all over but mainly my torso, neck & hips, I'm so fatigued & have the brain fog from hell! Getting desperate.

Sorry to disappoint but those are kinda the coping skills I use. Ice packs, heating pads, just started CBD oils. Like 2 days ago so Not sure how they are working. I have a pain management appointment today and Rheumatologist next Monday. I had a massage yesterday. Not a Lot of help. I will see what these Two doctors say. I have pain all over my body.

Thank you for replying. I don't find ice helps but I've just remembered I've got a lavender wheat bag to try around my shoulders. As for the CBD, you probably won't see instant results, it's a supplement to balance your bodies systems. Usually I can just adjust my dosage & within few days see a difference because it's already in my system. As a new introduction to your body, be patient (3/4 weeks) if you see no improvement slightly increase how much you use. If you take 3 drops, increase to 4. Don't go bonkers with the increase, firstly it's too flipping expensive and secondly your body may not need it. Although not dangerous, your body will naturally excrete it, it's a waste. I will add a couple more things though, CBD isn't for everyone. Your body may not respond so be prepared for that. And most importantly of all make sure you've checked that CBD isn't going to affect any medication you're currently on. Either speak to your medical team or Google search contraindications.

I talked to my doctors or they got a message and said it was okay for the CBD oil. Only problem is my pain doctor didn’t do any but tell me to take supplements to help with inflammation….. I am so sick of not getting pain relief

I hope CBD does work for you, it usually does for me perhaps I'm being impatient. Give the oil sometime to work into your system, in the meantime have a read up on perhaps a topical CBD cream? I use it on my lower back if I've got to drive any distance. Got my fingers crossed for you. 🤞

Much of the same for me, FMS & RA. I am a gluten free vegetarian & eat as organic as I can. It helps but not as much as I'd like. I've tried CBD, Delta 8, so many creams & rubs, just don't get it. I'm Reiki 1 & try to do that everyday.

I consume a lot more water, sometimes having to take Zofran because it makes me nauseous combined with the pain. I also double up on my Turmeric and magnesium. Anti-inflammatorues on a continuous basis for 3 days. I also dim the lights and keep noise levels down as much as I can. Water therapy is a must, even if it's just soaking in a hot tub, like a jacuzzi. Hope something helps. We all usually have to try a lot of different things to see what works for us. Also, I make myself chat with family or friends every day, even for a few minutes...venting helps and listening to others takes my mind off my pain even if it's just for a little bit.
