for the past year and a half I have been struggling alot. I have alot of symptoms but I'm unable to pinpoint what the condition is. I'm going to list my symptoms hoping to find someone related to me
- insomnia ( I could go three days with not one minute of sleep) - EXTREME fatigue even if u have weeks were I slept really well - episodes and bouts of depression that comes and goes - Muscle tenderness and muscle pain - lightheaded and feeling dizzy - deep dark circles and gaunt face - brittle hair and bumpy nails - major brain fog and find it really hard to focus
does anyone have a similar experience? I'm truly desperate here. I feel like I'm a living corpse and missing out on so much because of this.
Hi there, it sure sounds a lot like depression to me. There's a commercial for a drug medication and it says "depression hurts." Depression really does hurt and affects every part of our bodies. If you're trying to do things in your own, I recommend a good B complex vitamin and vitamin D at 5000 IU daily. (I'm in the medical field) There should be no problems with this, but talk to your doc or pharmacist to make sure it won't mess with any meds if you take meds. I'd also get some basic bloodwork done. You don't have to see a doc. You can order blood tests online, go get them done, and the results will come straight to you. ❤️
hi, thanks for your response. That is what I thought at first and I was going through alot of stress, but even after healing and being in a better headspace than before, these symptoms persist. Last time I did blood work, everything was normal expect for my WBC, granulocytes and lymphocytes. Dont know maybe I had an infection. I do need to test for vitamin D however !
vitamin d deficiency could definitely explain a lot of these symptoms. I seem to have everything that causes those symptoms, my vitamin d was so low initially that I had to take prescription grade once a week vitamin d for 6 months at first and then 3 months again later.
I have most of these and am being tested for Lupus, particularly the fatigue and muscle/joint pain and tenderness. But it also sounds like for you it could be a deficiency/malnutrition so I would definitely recommend getting blood tests. Otherwise it could be stress, depression, anxiety, ect.
I’m going through someone very similar for the last year and a half. I’m actually in the hospital getting testing done as we speak. Sending strength your way as you figure this out. I agree it would be beneficial to consult with a therapist regarding depression and potential treatment. Additionally, see a rheumatologist for a full work up to rule out autoimmune diseases and lastly, check your vitamin levels. Sometimes just being low in b-12 and vitamin d can cause a lot of those symptoms. I’m here do you ever want to chat! Be well 💕
would love to chat and keep me updated on how your tests go! Hope it comes out as nothing serious and can be easily fixed. Yes, I definitely need to do a full blood work, last time I did it every thing looked ok except for my WBC and lymphocytes. But I didn't check all of my vitamin levels
