    Make sure your dr explain the alternatives document everthing be very matter of fact for as explaining your symptoms...make your dr is proactive.

    I agree with the first comment. I got diagnosed at 20, and I felt things were dismissed at first. You have to find the right doctor who’s proactive and won’t just give you temporary care and advice all the time. You got this! Feel free to message me if you need anything 💪🏾💜

    I was diagnosed at 17. I had pretty severe symptoms so I didn't do much with alternative treatments, but my advice would be to get it under control with whatever medications are needed and after you are stable, work on alternative treatments so that you can lower your dosage.

    I was diagnosed recently (age 28) but I’m pretty sure I’ve dealt with symptoms for at least 10 yrs or so.
