I've tried online counseling and for me, it helped. I found out it depends on what I need help with. If it's issues that can be helped fairly quickly or with talk it worked well. I'm not sure it it's suitable for serious things. Honestly it was good way to talk things out, especially when I needed someone objective and could listen and help me sort things out.
