I’ve been doing a lot for 4 days in a row and now I’m suffering for it. (Wednesday dance class which was too intense, Thursday Pilates, Friday long walk and Saturday little walk). I didn’t pace myself or have a rest day in between because they were either already booked and I had to go or I felt ok at the time and felt crap afterwards. Now I can’t help with any of the housework or anything and I feel guilty that I can’t help. Feeling pretty useless.

Thank you, I was only able to do it because of my anxiety pressurising me to do things. Normally I can’t hardly do anything either but with things that have expectations on me I feel like I have to do it. I’m sorry you have this condition too💕 I’ve always struggled with guilt, my partner did all the housework today and I can’t stop apologising and feeling bad about it. I’m glad you have a supportive partner☺️ I find it hard sometimes to identify my limits, like when I went on that long walk I was having a relatively good day so walked longer and overdid it. I just really wanted to exercise more this year but it’s just making my pain worse😕 thank you for the reassurance and suggestions💗 I’ve tried so many different medications and nothing seems to help so now I’m not on anything, I’ve honestly given up with pain meds. I totally get you, my pain is so much worse in the cold months it makes everything ten times worse! Thank you so much, I’m here if you want to chat and it sounds like you’re doing an amazing job at managing your pain!☺️

I'm so sorry you are feeling like this. I'm impressed you were able to do all of those things. I can barely move most days, and a 10-minute walk can be overwhelming at times. Don't feel guilty. This is an illness you can not control. I have times where I can not do anything, not even cook myself a meal and have my partner do it. I was spending weeks without cleaning my house because I was just in too much pain. I have learned to identify my limits and avoid doing things that I know will trigger too much pain afterwards. I also go to a chiropractor every month, and more often of my symptoms get worse, and I find that this helps me. Are you on any medication for the pain? I have had to increase my dosage because the sub-zero temperatures were just making it more difficult for me to move. I hope you recover soon.
