I've been having worsening troubles with what I can best describe as "superficial" pain. Like I bump into something and it's excruciating. I get a small burn and I can't take ice off it for hours without the pain being nearly intolerable. Small things that never would have bothered me before. I used to have such a high pain tolerance. Is this something anyone else has experienced? Is this just my body being spiteful, or something related to any certain condition? Thank you for any info.

I totally understand this! My skin hurts to touch almost, it’s so weird! Even the smallest thing turns into a bruise too! I completely feel your pain!
Yeah this happens to me all the time. I hate when it happens in front of people & they just look at me like I’m being a total drama queen lol🤷🏻♀️
I get this a lot of the time, where it feels my my skin is badly sunburnt or bruised it anything touches it or if the temperature changes. My partner has started calling it my "ouchy days" when it happens lol
Yes! I hit my leg two weeks ago, and it just started to bruise and I am DYING
I definitely experienced this before! I’m so sorry you are going through it rn. I was diagnosed with AMPS and the doctor said that’s the main reason for my pain to feel more painful than it should.
so interesting never heard of this diagnosis before! This does explain a lot! Hope you have more good days than bad!
