I've been having worsening troubles with what I can best describe as "superficial" pain. Like I bump into something and it's excruciating. I get a small burn and I can't take ice off it for hours without the pain being nearly intolerable. Small things that never would have bothered me before. I used to have such a high pain tolerance. Is this something anyone else has experienced? Is this just my body being spiteful, or something related to any certain condition? Thank you for any info.
I get this a lot of the time, where it feels my my skin is badly sunburnt or bruised it anything touches it or if the temperature changes. My partner has started calling it my "ouchy days" when it happens lol
I definitely experienced this before! I’m so sorry you are going through it rn. I was diagnosed with AMPS and the doctor said that’s the main reason for my pain to feel more painful than it should.
