I don't really know what to post about but I would like to learn things that could be really helpful to my conditions as someone who has recently learned that they're diabetic.

Low-carb diet, lots of water and exercise! I've been taking metformin for a couple of years (I see you're on it, too) and it's not doing me any favors so I plan on asking for something else at my next appointment. Do some research and see if it's the right fit for you. Ask for a referral to a dietician or an endocrinologist (or both!) to help manage your case. Make sure you're getting your diabetic eye exams, foot checks, all that good stuff. I don't know how old you are or what your diabetic story is, but that stuff can sneak up on you if you're not having it monitored.

Keep carbs and sugar below 30 grams a day. Drink water, you can only have berries for fruit.

Something that helps me is having a consistent schedule for taking my medication.
