Agree or disagree? being EXTREMELY poor makes mental health issues EXPONENTIALLY worse.
this is what I’m experiencing right now. I barely make enough for rent and bills, so i barely get to eat, and never get to do anything fun unless someone else pays for it, among other issues…..
I know exactly what you’re going through! I’m so sorry you are going through this😞 maybe doing Uber or door dash could help with supplemental income and allow you to work when you’re okay to.🤷🏽
I completely agree. I’ve been going through some medication switches, and my mental health has been absolute $#!+. I felt super depressed, Christmas Eve, and then even worse Christmas morning. I ended up going to bed at 7:30 on Christmas Eve. I don’t know what had come up but it was a mess. My mental health is also been very poor because of thoughts that go through my head. Some of the online groups that I am in told me to take a break from the Internet for a while until I can get my mental health together, and believe me, I’m trying, but it’s not always possible to do.
Yessss I’ve been thru that same thing last year, thankfully this year i was on good meds for the gathering with my extended family, but for the one with my immediate family i slipped up a bit….. got mad, started yelling 😭😭😭
Hi…. I would have say agree. When you need to take care of things like rent and bills and try to take care of food too next is can you go to a doctor/psychiatrist/ therapist and what about medications. I know from some past experience food pantries can help dealing with food issues not always what you want to eat. But it does out food on the table. Next they have low income or sliding fee clinics if you live in a location that has them. If you don’t have insurance that is. Or if you qualify there is Medicaid possibly. There is also mmm I think it’s 411 to call to get resources for your area I am not 100% on that number
I’m struggling nowadays with money. I didn’t have money problems before if I’m being honest, so I have no clue of what to do and I feel really anxious about life costs
it’s become extremely more expensive in general. And income has not increased enough to be equal to what the expenses has become with the inflation. So it is more difficult to manage your finances because to the change in the cost of living
I mean if rent, grocery, gas, electricity are higher than why my salary is the same? It’s harder even as a parent. I’m glad that my kids aren’t affected but on the other hand I’m really anxious about what could come next.
I’ve talked to my employers. They said that they are “considering it”. I’m a full-time student as well so this is adding up. Hopefully things will get better soon
