Struggling with Disability Accommodations in College

Are you comfortable speaking with your professors and letting them know you’re in the process of getting accommodations? I’ve found that the more open the communication the better! They don’t need to know details, just that you’re in the process and will soon see the official letter but can they give an extension or whatever it is you think would best help you!
