I'm struggling to find coping mechanisms that help me to live life normally. It feels like everything is a struggle.I just want to be able to do laundry or go grocery shopping without disassociating or crying.

me too💌 long term fixes hav been hard to find but i’ve been trying a lot of different grounding techniques to help at least in the moment. it’s whatever u feel most connected to, but i like to sit, breathe, and imagine roots are growing from my spine into the ground. i also try to focus on breathing and the feeling of the water in the shower. movement helps sometimes break a “freeze” period. i like to dance, do jumping jacks, or just randomly shake to try to “reset” my brain. wishing u healing💌
