I wish I was "normal" that's probably why I have no friends.

I wish I had good advice for you about getting friends, but I honestly don't know what to say since I don't know what it's like to have epilepsy. I'm really sorry. As for your parents, have you discussed your frustrations with them? What did they say?

@WhiteFlamingo nope, because I know what my mom will say and my dad I don't know what he would say.

@hydroepilepic21 What would your mom say?

I have always felt like this. The thing I have found is that the more I think about how weird I think I am, the less willing I am to open up with people, which ends up making people not talk to me. It's so hard when you have social anxiety, but if you can open up to even one person - let your true self show and not your I'm In Public Self - then they'll feel comfortable enough to talk to you too.

@WhiteFlamingo OK, but that's only half of why I don't feel normal I have epilepsy, and it feels like I'm trapped in my parents spell because of it.

@hydroepilepic21 I apologize. I should not have assumed why you don't feel normal. What do you mean by your parents' spell?
