So just recently I was diagnosed with RA. it's been hard to deal with but I've been taking my meds and trying. My main concern are my feet though they are completely numb. sometimes I can't even tell my feet are cross and the bottom of my feet are sensitive my rheumatologist says it may be MS and I really think it is and I'm scared. that requires more medication and being more tired and not able to interact with my kids this is more of venting and asking is anyone else numb in their feet and can barely move them and sensitive under their feet. it's depressing I go for a MRI on July 7th but my anxiety. has me anxious And my depression had me said thinking the worst. it's like I'm fighting myself to keep positive.

Hopefully you get good news from your MRI πŸ™ I got mine done in an open style MRI (although they can have slightly worse image resolution) vs a tube style and it was really nice for me, even though I don't have an issue with small spaces. You may be able to request an open style machine if available in your area and that could help ease your anxiety! I have MS though and have those exact same sensations, but I can't tell all the way up my legs if they are crossed, not just ny feet. And the bottoms of my feet are super sensitive to cold and ticklish type touches. I'm so sorry that you are going through this on top of RA. Hopefully you will find a good way to manage your symptoms. Hugs πŸ’•

@Beans617 the situation with your legs is actually the same with mine i can't tell their crossed either. And the same with my feet too I sit by a heater during the day to keep my feet warm.

Hello Sweetheart, Im so sorry to hear the sadness in your post. I just had my MRIs last month and thought they would finally diagnose me so I can get the treatment I need. But we are "Still ruling things out" even though every doctor I have and person I know knows thats what I have. So your MRIs might not be the end all be all unfortunately. You might have a Lil bit of a road ahead of you. I have numbness in my feet but more in my hands. Im about to get a cane or arm crutch to help me with the footdrop. The bottom of my feet started killing me a couple years ago and just never seemed get better. But footbaths help. So Theres always something they can try for each of our symptoms. You just have to figure out what works for you. I am on here to hopefully both get and give some help. Maybe something that works for me might help you. You never know and its always worth a try. I hope your fear of the unknown gets a Lil easier over time. I know thats easier said than done. How old are your kids? There are some fun things you can do with kids without moving around too much. Finger painting and doing Lil art projects. Getting into a book series where you read aloud and make it fun with different voices. Iv had to learn different ways to interact. Do you have any close friends or family that can support you and help you through this difficult time? If you ever need to talk message me Ill be more than happy to let you vent or help you brainstorm on some ideas to help. Wish you all the help in the world and you feel better - Mallory
