Yes! I have loud voices of two people that I hear and one breathes in my left ear loudly and whispers. It sounds like it's in and outside my head. I put on loud thunderstorm sounds or music to calm and quiet me down.

I have these like “awake dreams” in sleep paralysis and really terrible nightmares about my trauma from when I was in the hospital and had to do ECT. I actually learned about a medication that is specifically helpful for PTSD nightmares called prazosin. It has helped a ton. I’m not sure if it would work because it sounds like the symptoms are a little different. But in addition it also causes drowsiness and helps me just sleep better. I also take a really good melatonin which just helps me sleep a lot and I try to listen to a mindful meditation that helps me fall asleep too.

Yes! Sometimes I hear a really loud ringing in my hears. This is not tinnitus, it's actually a hallucination clinically when it sounds so loud. I turn on background noise. TV, music, anything and I keep a soft lamp on. What medication are you taking currently?
