Is there anyone who has any tips on ways that might help lesson night terrors?

      1) things that help me destress at night (I use an essential oil diffuser, have some sleepy time tea, and try to avoid any TV or books that my brain could use against me. ) 2) consider if there is anything about your night terror that you could lessen the impacts of. Ex) mine were consistently that I would wake up screaming thinking there was an intruder in the house. While it wouldn’t stop the night terror itself, i got entry alarms on all the doors and windows so that if I woke up convinced that there was someone in the house, the lack of alarm would help my brain differentiate from reality and the night terror, which at least helped me get back to sleep. 3) therapy. This was huge. My night terrors were pinned to unresolved grief. I never made the connection in my own and after my therapist helped me with that revelation it significantly lessened. With continued work on my grief and stress they are basically gone (sure I still have weird nightmares, but at least I’m not waking the house screaming every night).
