Why do doctors want to eliminate my hallucinations completely?

Is it just me or does it seem like even when I'm doing better and my hallucinations aren't horrible the doctors seem to want to 100% eliminate the hallucinations that never go away

I hate it especially when I was in the psych ward and they wanted to try and get rid of them before I went home it was bullshit. "We want to help as much as we can" okay but I can deal with the constant hallucinations I have

Yeah, I've always had doctors that seem to want to treat every single little symptoms, even though they tell me they may never fully go away.
