I have stage 4 liver cirrhosis….. been prescribed lactalose…… once prescribed this can you go with out taking it, without getting sick? And does it cause anyone else headaches or make them feel bad?

I’ve gotten to where I never feel myself! Some days are good for me and some days I’m scared! I haven’t done my lactalose in a while wondering if that’s why I feel the way I do

I have been taking Lactulose for over a year now. To be totally honest, it is a total pain in the rear end, literally. I skip it sometimes, when I have special occasions or important meetings, but when I am starting to feel sluggish or not like myself, I do take it. Hopefully, it will help you. Are you in a transplant list?
