are there any disabled parents here that have any advice for someone who wants to be a parent? disclaimer I am not planning on becoming a parent in the near future, me and my partner have been talking a lot about our plans for the future lately and how we want to become parents and I have been hit with a lot of anxieties as a disabled person who relies on a wheelchair about how well I could take care of a baby/young child, and the more I research the more I've realized there's such an extreme lack of resources it's starting to feel like parenthood is something out of my reach entirely. I would especially appreciate anything about how to Baby in a wheelchair

One person shared their experience of having a child while dealing with a disability: "Schedules are very helpful! Keep the same routine as much as possible! Know that some days it's a quiet, we watch movies & read days." This suggests that maintaining a consistent routine and being flexible with activities can help in managing parenthood with a disability.
