So I was diagnosed with PTSD and Bipolar 1 a short while ago. What should I do now? I'm already in therapy and am confused about my diagnoses I'm afraid of taking medication for either because of stuff that happened when I was younger. Does anyone have any advice they can shoot my way, coping strategies, ect.?

Im in the same boat... my diagnosis came as a shock and I still don't know or understand it that well. I think there's a lot to learn from others with similar diagnosises or trauma, but it's a journey to find those people. The one new coping method I've found may sound silly: watching a movie for just one hour or less a day, so it takes several days to finish. ive found it gives me something small but consistent to look forward to without taking alot of time or attention, which one symptom of ptsd for me is an shortened attention span. I hope that is something you feel like you can try!
@WitchyMolotov I'm so glad it could help
@bed thanks! I'll try the movie trick tonight.
