The Political Nature of Human Rights

this is sort of a vent about politics, and i am asking for comforting words or support why do human rights have to be political? why do my rights have to be political? i am an AFAB non-conforming trans man and the overturning of Roe v Wade scares me. i am not 100% sure if it is true, but on top of allowing states to ban abortions, it can take away gender affirming health-care and same sex marriage. that scares me, so much. do people not realize that this will kill people? making abortions illegal won't stop them from happening, so now there will be unsafe abortions. my dysphoria can be deadly, and if i don't have the future of having access to gender affirming health-care to look forward to, i don't know what much that there is for me. we are just going back in time. so much hard work--literal blood, sweat, and tears--are being undone. it scares me.
