I usually call my husband and share my thoughts with him. It really helps me to share what I’m going through with people I care about. Besides that, I try to practice mindfulness and meditation to calm down.
Getting outside helps me. Breathing exercises for sure...doing something that I enjoy like cooking helps me focus to distract me from the anxiety. And trying to remind myself that it will pass even though it feels like it won't at the moment. You will get through it...I promise. Be gentle and patient with yourself. ♥️
Juicebox234 this is really helpful for me too. Focusing on the “now” helps me calm my panic attack.. sometimes when I find it difficult I try to do something like sports in order to reduce my thoughts. There are many mindfulness apps that help practicing thoughts management
