Random Thought #t1dandfood #notfeelingwell I feel like I have an extremely significant neutral relationship with food. being type 1 and loving food is like a double negative. I snack on foods in my most opposite extreme moments. boredom and stressed are the most major opposites on my scale. happy and sad fall in between those, and then it's like a mix of hormones and I eat and snack with those as well. sometimes food is my positive fuel and energy and I keep my glucose level. other times food and I are like the double duo of destruction for my glucose. in the end, it hurts my either way wether I've been eating healthy, snacking healthy, my glucose either sky rockets or plummets. Does anyone else feel like this?

@LotusFlower I highly suggest the pump! Or at least the cgm! It's a game changer!

This is exactly what happens to me. Sometimes I don't eat all-day until 7 pm and my sugar doesn't really level that much. When I get stressed I overeat by a lot.i wear a pump but unfortunately is not working good for me. You're not alone, I understand what you're feeling.

@Dreams09 I am so sorry your having the same problem. I hope you and your doctor can find a solution! I am currently trying to get the upgraded pump that will communicate with the cgm.

If I go long periods of not eating my bloodsugar levels out ..then when I start eating again my bloodsuagr drops everytime I take insulin for the food I eat (carb counting) (on insulin pump and CGM). It seems that no matter what I do my blood sugar does as it pleases...I totally feel your pain. I do suffer from an eating disorder.

@Fukdisthikin that is exactly how my sugar does, and I'm not on a pump. I tgive self injections.
