So I just started the low fodmap diet, and I’m feeling really frustrated right now. I have found quite a few good recipes and snacks I can have, but my family absolutely refuses to do any research or even try to find food I can eat. They asked me about it but how on earth am I supposed to explain the restrictions over text when I need two apps to figure it out myself? They’ve already chewed me out for not going to restaurants with them and it’s absolutely ridiculous that they can’t wrap their heads around the fact that this isn’t a fad diet, and that it’s actually medically necessary for me. I’m about ready to just cut them off completely, and this is the cherry on top of the turd pile to me.
