anyone taking antidepressants with BPD? i’ve been on Lexapro and Wellbutrin for almost a year now since i first got diagnosed with (inititally) social anxiety & depression. it’s been so long and i honestly think the Lexapro has made my BPD worse… is that a thing? what meds or treatments have worked for y’all?
i was almost diagnosed with bpd and still in the process of getting a deeper diagnosis. i’ve been on lexapro for about 1-1 1/2 years now and i didn’t really notice my bpd until i went back on lexapro. it’s definitely something to bring up to your doctor to see if they recommend a different medication. i’m on lexapro and lamictal/lamotrigine which helps with bpd and i’ve noticed it getting better. i take both lexapro and lamictial now and i feel a lot better with my bpd. i hope this helps :)
