mine was in the list to be recalled so I called them. They asked me many questions but determined mine was not one of the bad units. It had something to do with insulation inside some machines being sub par and deteriorating and flaking off and being breathed in. I have some mechanical skills and take my unit apart once every few months for a complete and thorough cleaning and have noticed no deteriorating areas thank goodness.
