Feeling unheard and helpless

It’s helpful to know that many people think about it (your pain), when they’re with you, but they are afraid that bringing it up could remind you of it (even though we know you never forgot about it). So as uncomfortable as it may seem, it’s good to ask to talk about things that are bothering you, and let them know how they could help you (since they may have no idea which is is the right way for you)
